Guy Velgos has circled the Earth’s axis and the Sun for many decades, and is only recently getting a little woozy. He taught English (and Russian) to high school students for over 20 years, and no one is more impressed with that than he. He has also performed with the Arizona Balalaika Orchestra since 1980, is a regular blood platelet donor, and has been a motorman for Old Pueblo Trolley, where he did not need to apply his deft skills at parallel parking. Guy has been known to boldly sing where no one has sung before, e.g. serenading random students in the hallway outside his classroom during passing period.
He lives with his family (human and otherwise) in the Sonoran Desert north of Tucson.
